Can you wear glasses in a passport photo?
In most countries, no. The US has banned glasses in passport photos since 2016, and the UK, Schengen countries and many others require them off or reject glare and frames that cover the eyes. Unless you have a documented medical need, remove your glasses for any passport or visa photo.
The concern is glare, tinted lenses and frames obscuring the eyes, all of which interfere with identity checks. Even where glasses are technically allowed, the safest move is to take them off.
